Acquitted is a satirical fast paced zombie/hack-and-slash shooter with base building and tower defense elements that takes place on randomly generated and fully destructible maps. Fight for your life against decades of poor upbringing and education, which has physically manifested itself in a skateboard-swinging, feces-throwing horde of undead! Choose from 18 different weapons and items to defend against hundreds of mindless creatures bent on taking you to your grave or jail cell for refusing .The controls are simple (WASD + mouse for a two-hand shooter) and it takes less than a minute to master the game, but the complexity and strategic difficulty increase over time. But what strategies fester in the brains of the mindless? Little zombies will pounce on you with a variety of hand weapons, while others will stand by and throw bricks and bottles. They will work together from different directions to surround you, use their numbers and mass to trap you, outflank your position, determine difficult paths, and even break down barricades to get to you. In addition to dealing damage with melee weapons and projectiles, they can also blind you with intoxicants, control your movement by covering the map in flames, steal your weapons, and send you flying backwards with jump attacks. The gameplay becomes very interesting and chaotic when several of these enemy strategies are combined at the same time. Large zombies are few in number, but incredibly strong and dangerous. Some can grab you and eat you in one bite, others can bulldoze your way through walls to destroy your cover and open floodgates for new threats. They often act as large meat shields for the smaller zombies advancing behind them. Luckily, they are too big to fit through small openings, which gives you plenty of room to escape (especially if you´re going to be setting up barricades) - but don´t expect them to stand near doorways, allowing you to shoot at them. They will try to find a bigger opening or, failing that, hide behind cover or circle your cover menacingly while smaller zombies trickle inside the building to flush you out. Large zombies also leave their bodies as obstacles, either blocking your path or perhaps providing valuable cover. How long can you last against hordes of mindless ones? Key Features: 100 levels
